We hope to have a stool that can be loaded into the backpack. It needs to be durable enough on the lightest basis.
So we have improved the traditional folding stools so that they can be folded further. They use 7075 aluminium alloy tubes.
The high strength of the 7075 aluminium alloy allows its weight to be reduced to lower at the same strength.
It is now only 260g but can withstand a weight of 100kg. It's not very big, but it's more comfortable than sitting on a stump when you hike to the camp and need to rest and eat.
It can be put into the top bag of the backpack and quickly removed and stored.
We are delighted with the capabilities it has shown during the walk.
We have to say that it is not very suitable for camping because we try to optimize it for hiking.

Just big enough to sit on with comfort. I'm 80kg, feels plenty strong enough. Sometimes a bit fiddly to set up. Love the 2 bars instead of 4 legs, does not sink or lurch sideways in softer ground.
